Guest guest
: It sounds like you are doing great and had a good doc appt. I had the glucose test today as well, the drink was not that bad. The bad thing was that I had to take it at 8:30 a.m. on an empty stomach, and it was early for a sugary drink. Guest guest
, I am so glad to hear that things went well!!! I am glad you will be seeing dr every two weeks soon. I know that has to put your mind at ease some. Take care. update Hi all. I had a dr apt yesturday. I had the glucose test and an internal exam. Everything seems fine. I get the glucose test results in a couple of days. I don't know why I was worried about the orange drink...it tasted like Sunkist Pop..which was very refreshing since it is so hot out! The exam was really quick and my cervix is nice and closed.I did ask about my belly button. Basically, it is stretching..and my dr doesn't think it is from my lap (I still question that). He said I can even get some tingling and numbness in that area and it is common, it is just a real sensitive area. I go back in 3 weeks and then every 2 weeks after that. I thought I would only see him every 3 weeks until the last month so I am feeling better about his care!27 Weeks

Guest guest
Amy, Let me know when you're ready for it and I'll start sending baby dust your way. Here's a little **************************** to help keep your spirits up... store it up if you want. As far as I'm concerned you can post as much about your IVF process as you want. I don't know much about it and won't be able to understand much, but there are ladies here that will know all about it and keep inspiring you. Have fun on your trip!! ((((((HUGS)))))) and a little extra baby dust*******************************. ) Amy 18w 1d update Ladies,Here is an update on what is going on with me. I finally have seen AF which will finally start the cycle for IVF. I guess in about 2 1/2 weeks the shots will start. I am so ready to begin... As you know I was supposed to start them at the end of May and the IVF lab will be closed when I would have done the retrieval and transfer. I am now out of work ( I am a school social worker) and my only priority this summer is getting pregnant. Please say a prayer for me and my DH Dirk. I know that they help. I want to follow in all of your footsteps... You give me a lot of hope, especially those who have had IVF. We are going to Seattle on Tues. and can't wait. We live in Indiana and are looking forward to seeing another part of the country. I thought that I should post to let you know I am still around and I read all the posts. I hope that soon I will have more to join in with. Have a great weekend all you wonderful ladies. I know that coming here will only help my chances of becoming pg. (they have done studies that confirm that). Guest guest
Sorry to hear that the artery is so occluded. But--HEY--you can't beat a weekend of sex! ((((hugs)))) Kathy update Well, I trundled off to the doc's on Friday. The graft tookwell, and is open. The artery is better than 90% occluded withscar tissue, though. Apparently, I've had a bunch of micro-clotsthroughout the arterioles in my hands and arms, and two in verysmall heart arterioles. This is not happy-making news. Theantibody titer is 1:5120 WITH immunosuppression; so, they'regoing to kick me onto a really high pred burst [240 mg with a 5mg / 3 day taper] and see if that helps. They don't want me tolift more than 20 lbs with the left arm; nor am I supposed to letanybody do blood pressures / draws. I can fly if I have to; but, they'd rather I didn't. And, and I can have sex again . .. guess what I spent the weekend doing. ;>OwensPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com

Guest guest
{{{{{{{Deb}}}}}}}}}} Glad you're at the perfect weight. I hope the bradycardia changes for you. I was opposite today. Mine was 130. Take care and great hearing from you x0x0x0 shirley -- Update I'll bet you thought I had dropped off the face of the earth. It feels a little like I have, I've been so out of touch with EVERYONE I know. I have killed 1000's of e-mails from the last couple of months, so am totally out of the loop when it comes to what is going on with all of you. I have gone as long as 3 weeks at a time lately without even turning on the computer. I'll just say that I had been getting more and more tired, sleeping a lot and dragging my wagon around. Even the news from my primary that I am now at a perfect weight and she doesn't want me to lose anymore and to stop thinking in terms of low-calorie and low-fat didn't make me feel better. I knew that my resting pulse was too slow much of the time, but somehow didn't worry about it. I ended up in the hospital last week, admitted through ER, primarily for bradycardia, although at times it would turn into tachycardia. Had lots of tests, with some good news in them (as in my heart valves are no worse than a couple of years ago, etc.), but in the end, no specific reason for the rate problems. So, the cardiologist says I'm heading for a pacemaker. That's ok. People live perfectly well with pacemakers, so that doesn't bother me. In fact, we have an 87-yr-old here in my apt. complex who literally runs with her dog, and she's on her 3rd pacemaker. Jane or Kathy-- can you catch me up on everyone? Thanks.
