Guest guest Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Recently I started doing "mirror work" at the suggestion of my counselor to help me with negative body image and other negative self image issues I have. I am finding it to be very helpful for changing my thought patterns, though it is definitely a process, and I am definitely in the beginning stages. Almost immediately I started noticing a difference in my self-talk, or at least catching myself with the negative self talk (and WOW I was saying really negative things about myself to myself ALL THE TIME!).
