Bandaids on...

I used the Midas Gold Waffle recipe to make the Scooby Waffles. Each

waffle uses 1/3 cup batter and only takes about 2 minutes to make.

I plan to make 2 batches at once and freeze them. That way I can have

some handy any time.

I don't know if all of the WalMarts carry them, but it's a great deal

and works so well.

I uploaded the image of the waffle maker and one of the Scooby Waffles

to the photos section of the pecanbread yahoo group, if anyone wants to

see a photo.

I am going to try making chicken pancake waffles to see if they turn

out in the waffle maker. But it might be a couple of days before I get

to it. I haven't even unpacked from the trip yet.

The MidasGold waffle recipe is sensationally good, even for making

paper-thin waffles (crepes). I love the Scooby machine. Good idea to

upload to the pecanbread website?

I'm sure it works when you add (relatively dry/squeezed out)

vegetables or any kind of chopped meat. The batter is easiest to make

in the blender anyway.
