Hi Kathy,

I don't use honey of peanut butter , I use almond butter, tahini, and pumpkin

seed butter. and for a sweetener , I personally use stevia , but really my kids

don't care for sweets any more. The texture issues get better , My was so

texture sensitive , and now it amazed me at all that she will eat , and she will

try everything now. I think the texture issues are linked with the yeast and bad

bacteria's.

Take care,

Angie

Thanks, I am not using peanut butter but put a little honey back in to use

on her pancakes. She doesn't tolerate almond so am using cashew. I use

saccharin too usually in a drink. She has totally stopped picking her nails

and scratching but the other day I gave her a banana with the no-fenol and

she scratched her arm until it was red and irritated. I only used half so

need to try it again I guess.

The dark circles come and go even as quickly as one day.

" I gave her a banana with the no-fenol and she scratched her

With that type of reaction, I would seriously consider that she

may be allergic to bananas.

I have never read of a phenol reaction causing someone to itch

and scratch. Sounds more like a true IgE allergic reaction to me.

You know Jody, you are totally right. But before SCD we introduced them back

in with no problem. SCD seems to show you more of the allergy symptoms? We

did SAGE testing at DR.Bradstreet's office (supposed to be the best testing

available) If anyone is interested the website is :

http://www.foodallergytest.com/sage_test.html

She showed in the high range when we did it for apple, beef, chicken,

codfish, tomato,beet, watermelon, bkrs.yeast, brws.yeast, cocoa, orange,

wheat, celery, banana, broccoli, coconut, sugar cane, barley, swt.potato, and

also some colorings and additives.

She obviously just really can't handle banana. Abby has always " scratched "

and " itched " but the nail picking I know comes from the phenols. Thanks for

your input.
