Guest guest
I found brimonidine in Quick Look Drug Book for lowering of intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, but it has the dosage form as 0.2% instead of 2%, and it says 1 drop in affected eye(s) 3 times/day (approximately every 8 hours). Doctors of course sometimes modify the dosage as far as how often and such, but the 0.2% is quite a bit of a difference. ----Original Message Follows---- To: NMTC <nmtc > Subject: OPHTHALMOLOGIC EYE DROPS Date: Sun, 30 Sep 2001 10:21:00 -0700 Hi: I need some help finding the name of ophthalmologic eye drops. In a list of drugs, the doctor dictates what sounds like Primonodine ophthalmologic drops 2% one drop bid. I know there is a Primidone but I cannot find an eye drops of 2%. This doctor FREQUENTLY mispronounces drugs, but he is clearly dictating what sounds like Prem-moan-a-deen. Is there anyone that can help me with this. Thanks, Ruthie
