Guest guest
I just read on the secretin discussion list (and of course I erased it!), that a child that had ever increasing DHPPA levels for a year even while treating for clostridia bacteria . Finally a lower ab Xray was done that revealed impacted fecal material and when the blockage was taken care of, the DHPPA level decreased to low normal levels. The bacteria theoretically just flourished on the fecal material. Did your daughter have a fecal mass at any point, or signs or constipation or diarrea that has since been relieved? If so if the relif of the mass may have a lot to do with the decrease in levels. So keep those bowels moving. in OK
