Hey Carla,

It's good hearing from you. Hitting that first year is a big one. As the

first anniversary of 's diagnosis approached, I found myself getting

more reflective and composing a thousand and one posts for the email list.

As it was, I chickened out and decided not to tempt fate by posting any of

them. However, I am very glad you mentioned it was your first year.

Do you know what the water in your feet is about? Is this edema related to

spilling protein or is it something else? I'm sorry to hear you've been

feeling tired.

You take care of yourself, you hear? Holiday stress can be pretty wearing -

let alone on top of everything else I know you have cooking.
