McCarthy and autism/implants

After reading this article, I see that she does in fact recognize the dangers of vaccinations. But I am really kinda stumped by McCarthy. Do any of you remember her book that came out years ago in which she stated she was going to remove her implants? I read it when I was going through the initial stages of my illness. I remember being impressed that she was going to remove her implants. I don't think she ever did. Anyone know? The reason I am stumped is because look at what she states in the article: " says she believes that childhood vaccinations may play a part. So, if she wants to give credibility to the women who are drawing conclusions about vaccinations based on experience, I wonder if she does the same thing for women who draw conclusions about implants making them sick?
