How'd the second day of green beans go Carol? Are you ready to pass judgement on the beans today?

Basically you have 3 courses of action depending on what the scale and your gut are telling you.

1. Scales are still up, gut still unsettled - declare them an intolerance food and either do another water fast or take a break from testing for a couple of days and then do the water fast.

2. Scales have dropped back down and you are feeling good - declare that half pound gain yesterday to have been the result of too little water and green beans are a safe food. In that case, you can start testing eggs (if that's what you decided) today. Make sure you have eggs at each meal and for a snack, but you can also still keep eating beef and green beans. Drink lots of water!

3. You can't make up your mind whether green beans are the enemy or not. I'd suggest testing them for 1 more day and see if you can make up your mind. They may be more of a maintenance food than a lose weight food and that's perfectly fine to know too.

Good stuff Carol!!

I would eat at least 8 eggs today spread out over the day. You don't necessarily have to have eggs, green beans and beef all at the same time if the combo sounds too yucky. You could have a couple of eggs and then an hour or two later have some beef and green beans and then a couple of hours later have a couple of more eggs - more of a mini-meal kind of thing.

I'm glad that the green beans turned out to be ok - you had me worried!

What food are you going to choose for after the eggs? Chicken maybe? Another veggie? Butter?

I think the eggs will be a big psychological boost - it really feels better when you don't have to have beef for brekkie ;-)

Excellent Carol! Sounds like you're well underway :)

After you test the chicken and brocolli, you could make a pretty decent chicken soup with green beans and brocolli in it - it's amazing the flavour you get in the broth when simmering a chicken. I made a safe food chicken soup last week and it was the envy of all around :)

Mayo is one of those complex foods that is often a problem, whether it is

due to the type of oil used or one of the other ingredients. I know that

mayo made with soya oil is a bad food for me, but I've had mixed results

when testing mayo made with canola oil. So I avoid it altogether these days

and use sour cream instead. I've been thinking that I should test the

ingredients for home-made mayo and see if I can work up to it that way.
