Anyone know anything about Fatty Liver?

My ex has it and the doctor told him it was caused by his weight and by his

excessive drinking...unfortunately it hasn't hurt him any But that would be

fortunately for you! They did tell him it is a precursor to cirrhosis of the

liver.

I'm certainly no expert on livers, but I know that Celiac Disease is

sometimes associated with it. Before I was diagnosed with celiac

disease I was told that I had " liver failure " for no known reason. I

was tested for everything except celiac disease that could affect a

liver, and I had no infection, I didn't drink, etc.

You can read a research article at

http://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodid=100

for more information on this subject.

There is even an association between celiac disease and diabetes, which

tend to occur often together.

We can hope your fatty liver is as easy to treat and cure as mine was.
