Guest guest
Hi All, Well, I finally saw the neurosurgeon, 3 weeks after the cancellation of my cisternogram, and he told me that I definitely need the cerebral angiogram. My MRA shows high grade stenosis of the left vertebral artery at the mid cervical region. I saw my MRA and its pretty impressive. Almost complete occlusion of the vessel. He thinks one of my lami/fusion titanium screws might be pressing on the artery............could it be that simple? If its not a screw then it is true stenosis which is much more difficult to fix because the artery runs through the bone of the spinal column. As a matter of fact I cant even find out how it is fixed...........:-( Anyway, the angio is supposedly the diagnostic test of choice. So, if I want to find an answer to this horrible dizziness I guess I will have to do this. BUT, I am scared to death of this test. For those of you that wrote me before about your experiences could you write me again???????? Good and Bad! Thanks for the support. nne Decompression May 00, lami/fusions c3-6 Apr 00, dysautonomia and HORRIBLE dizziness..........now artery stenosis
