Guest guest
I felt a little better today... More energetic!!! However my son has been having " frustrated " episodes in the afternoon, when he pinches, bites, etc.. and then cries and cries and cries. How long does this stage last? Please someone tell me that it takes 1 week or so!!! It this is going to take 2 or 3 weeks, I honestly don't think we are going to be able to!!!! He is not going to the bathroom either. He refuses to drink water (he used to drink a lot before), while I am constantly thirsty now... Coral

Guest guest
what about the chicken broth or beef broth? That will be good if he refuses water. Guest guest
Coral, I don't know about the start over but I do know that Welch's grape juice in the bottle is the scd legal one. Were you watering down the grape juice? Blessings, Doreen Re: Day 3 AARRRGGG!!! I was just reading some old posts, and there is a list of the " ONLY " legal commercial foods... Guest guest
Hi Coral, Two or three days on he intro are plenty if he is constipated ( " not going to the bathroom " ). Keep up the peeled, cooked fruits and veggies. Raw with or without peels will only make constipation worse. If you are using the legal juices from the intro just make sure that they are diluted. That should help some. Some of the behaviours may be die-off but they sound more like those reported with constipation. Guest guest
Hi Coral, I don't think you need to start over. Just switch to a legal juice a.s.a.p. Sue (from Pickering) Mom to , 4.5, formerly? ASD, SCD since March 16/
Guest guest
Yes, he was getting the juice watered down. But I used the grapejuice to make jello (which I ate mainly, he likes crunchy foods!) I got Welsch juice today, but couldn't find Heinz tomato juice, I got Walmart brand and 's. Coral
Guest guest
> but couldn't find Heinz tomato juice, I got > Walmart brand and 's. > > Coral We use the 's. I think most people in the US do. If I remember correctly Heinz sells their JUICE mostly in Canada. The Walmart brand may be just fine, too. As long as it's just tomato juice (it says from concentrate) and salt. Can you get verification there is nothing else added? son - 5yo on 5/5, ASD, SCD one year
Guest guest
Walmart brand is cleared for the GFCF diet, so I am assuming it will be OK, but it may have added sugar (although it doesn't say...)I am going going to have to call them on Monday...
