Sheila, I use the same brand. Mine is made in Canada. Is it also available in

the U.S.?

Sorry Carol,

I haven't the foggiest. But similar ingredient bacons are sold

there..Gwaltney's I think is one.

Yes, unfortunately there are nitrates. She doesn't eat much. Mostly a few

pieces on the weekends.

Hi Kim,

> how soon can you start bacon after the intro diet?

If symptoms are still fairly severe after the intro you may want to

proceed with an easier to digest form of meat than bacon. But if

things are improving nicely you could try a piece or two of bacon

and see how it is tolerated. If it causes a return of symptoms wait

a little longer, at least a week, before retrying it.
