Guest guest
Yes, unfortunately there are nitrates. She doesn't eat much. Mostly a few pieces on the weekends. > > Kathy, > Does Gwaltney's bacon has nitrates? > > > >

Guest guest
how soon can you start bacon after the intro diet? thanks. kim (mom to charlee, ASD, 7 1/2 on SCD for 2 1/2 days)
Guest guest
Hi Kim, > how soon can you start bacon after the intro diet? > thanks. If symptoms are still fairly severe after the intro you may want to proceed with an easier to digest form of meat than bacon. But if things are improving nicely you could try a piece or two of bacon and see how it is tolerated. If it causes a return of symptoms wait a little longer, at least a week, before retrying it.
