Guest guest Posted October 18, 2003 Report Share Posted October 18, 2003 Hi all...checking in...thru the groups yahoo site because I'm not sure if this would go thru my mail. Yahoo decided to shut off my mail on Monday night but didn't bother to let me know until this evening....nice, huh? Guess I should check in a little more often <sigh> Things are going ok here...a lot of the same here. Ups and downs...same ole same ole. Had to get a new PICC line because my old one decided to stop working...yikes. My other leg is finally starting to feel better although for no reason it will just give out on me when I'm walking when I least expect it so that makes life fun <eg> The girls are doing great...growing like weeds. We had school conferences a couple of weeks ago and had to take a few tests before the conferences to judge where she's at level-wise. I would have been pretty happy with her being at a 3rd grade level since that's her grade level but instead she tested in math at a 4th grade 7 month of school level and in reading she tested at 5th grade ninth month of school level. Savanah, unfortunately, did not test at her grade level in math but we knew she wouldn't...she is getting extra help with math and I work with her extentively at home when she's with us. They didn't test her on reading but I'm confident her reading would have been at her grade level or above from other tests that she's taken and from her reading at home and stuff. Well, I think that's about all I've got to report in...lol. Hope all is well with all. OH and a BIG P.S. A HUGE Thanks to my SS for the Wonderful Books I got in the mail last week!!!!
