Guest guest
Hi Vicki! I had my strawberry shortcake dolls too...I just found out my mom gave them away! Can you believe it???? I know they are worth money beause I saw them at an antique store last year. I can still remember the smell of the boxes I had them in!! Ahhh I knew you were having that surgery but I had no idea it was so intense..it sounds very painful. I hope you are feeling tons better! Take care, 29 Weeks

Guest guest
Thanks , The pain is almost completely gone, only the stitches are still lumpy, but that should go away in a month or two... otherwise almost back to normal! Cute idea on calling at the office to hear the heartbeat! Guest guest
Vicki, I am happy to hear things went ok and that you are on the mend. Take care. Vicki's Surgery Hi and anyone else...oops, sorry, I posted privately to Jo-Ann just so she'd know where Iwent. I had out-patient surgery on 5/22 to fix my belly button hernia(sounds wonderful right??) It popped out when I was pregnant with Andy(#2) then let's just say it became worse and worse after Blake thenMikaela, but we knew there was no use fixing it until after I was donehaving babies. Now I'm done.....these 4 should keep me busy for thenext 50 years!!! Anyway, they did the surgery by scope but went in on myside instead of by the belly button like laparscopic, there was about aninch incision right on my rib cage (4 stitches), then 2 smallerincisions (2 stitches each) one on my waist then one a couple of incheslower. They had to put mesh over the hole in my muscle and STAPLE it tothe muscle (ouch!!), anyway I was a little bruised and my stomachmuscles are really really sore, I'm 2 weeks post-op now, and it onlyhurts when I sneeze or cough so I'm definately on the mend, oh and I'malready back to exercising, just no sit-ups yet!! They said the sorenesscould last up to 6 weeks. I don't know if this surgery is anything likeliposuction, but if it is, count me out!! Anyway, that's the scoop.
