I'm sorry to hear that it did a number on your WBCs. How long did the WBC count stay low? Were you able to stay on the drug? 's white cell numbers dropped after IV prednisone, but then the numbers popped back up after a few weeks. Other parents from the NephKids site report the same thing happening from cellcept (aka MMF) - in some cases the drop was so extreme they had to discontinue the drug. I haven't had any problems w/ infection and I work in a hospital.
