Guest guest
Diane, Congrats and welcome to the other side!! You sound so upbeat, and getting used to things little by little, so glad all went well for you! The back spasms may happen....try putting a pillow under your knees while laying down a bit, helps to elevate pressure on the spine. Hang in there! My surgery, a week ago today, went wonderfully. I went home Friday morning, and I go tomorrow to get my staples out. I feel pretty terrific all things considered. My back is giving me fits from all the laying/sitting around, but I guess that's normal. Sleeping positions took some getting used to, but every night is better than the last. I just wanted to thank everyone who sent me good wishes and prayers, they worked. I want to thank Maura and Sandi for visiting me in the hospital, it was great to see you both! Gotta go, I am now back on daily mail for the list. Hugz from NH diane h

Guest guest
Thats great Diane that you are " on the other side " . My back hurt me for a while too, it has gone away, I think it was the ribs are pulled apart during surgery. I sure was glad when the staples were gone, I have been using vitamin E cream and it seems to help the scar. Take Care, Barb > Hello all, > I am back and on the other side!!! It feels great. Guest guest
Welcome back, Dan. Good luck with your latest lab results. I don't know about the weight loss. A well-managed IgAN patient shouldn't be losing weight. Eating enough protein and calories? Not sure what the groin pain could be, but I guess I had vaguely similar pain when I had a prostate infection.
