I just recently found out that I have a large cyst on my right ovary. I may have to have it removed surgically, cross your fingers that I don't. Maybe we should form a cyst club - lol! Hold on just a little while longer sweetie, you will get through this too, come on August. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have been in pain since I got af on 5/26... well sunday night and yesterday it was tremendous.. take the pain of the ep and m/c put them together and this pain was twice as bad. I went to the dr thinking it might be a kidney infection to find out I have big cysts on my ovaries and fluid all around them and my uterus(from cysts that ruptured).. hence all the pain. I have to go on b/c pills for 6 weeks straight and get another u/s and hopefully then I we can start ttc again... very frustrated and pissed! I am trying to be positive about it and say, "what 's another 6 weeks??, 6 is my lucky #!! ". I will probably start them today as soon as the dr calls and tells me my beta is -, which I KNOW it is! I am hoping this helps heal them and the 6 weeks gives my body time to recuperate and I will be rearing to go in August!! I am sure you are devistated and angry all at the same time!! Just think the b/c pills ARE going to help w/ the cysts and you will be ready to ttc come Aug. And then you will have NO more cysts NO more pain and will get pg right away! That is what I'll be praying for!! I do think the right thing to do though is to take the pills... I know it kinda throws a curve into your TTC plans, but the prospect of loosing an ovary doesn't sound very good at all. Waiting is the hardest part, hopefully it will all work out and the cyst will disappear like it's supposed to. Try to take care of yourself. Guest guest Posted June 5, 2001 Report Share Posted June 5, 2001 , Well honey I know you have to be so frustrated, but I think taking the b/c pills is your best option. I hate that you have been in so much pain. I once had a cyst rupture when I was in high school (looong time ago) and I still remember the pain OUCH!!
