Guest guest
~ Can you still get a copy of your records from having the implants placed? The type should be in there. You can also ask Dr Huang if she has any idea what kind. I wish I could help more on that question. I will look around and see what I can come up with.... Guest guest
~ I would get some over the counter fungal cream like for jock itch, and put alittle in your ears and some in your nose. I would use a netti pot to clean your sinuses, and if you dont have one, which I dont either, use a syringe and lean over your sink and squirt it in and let it drain out. Anti-histamines are so drying, you may need alittle to help dry up your ears, but I wouldnt take it long term. flonase is a preventative, I used to use it and it worked short term, but they wanted me on it year round. I just dont think the side effects are worth it. Sleep on a couple pillows so your eustation tubes drain well. Maybe put some water in your crock pot if ya have one and turn it on, and breathe the steam, or put washcloths in there and ring them out and put the wet heat on your sinuses. I have been researching lately about histamine and anti-histamine. I think the use of so many is causing other problems, but I havent found it yet. This is a gut feeling I am going on. The caprilic acid is fairly inexpensive, and kills fungals, 3600 mg a day for at least 16 days. Garlic is a natural antibiotic, so if ya feel like ya need it, eat up, it also kills fungus. Drink lots of kefir. Follow your gut, I bet it is fungal . Are molds high there right now? get a clue doctors..... I am so glad you are doing so well, what a blessing ! I am sorry you are having the ear problem, hope it clears quickly. Sleeping on a couple pillows will help the ears drain better and not settle in your middle ears........have a great weekend ! Guest guest
Dede, I stayed up late watching movies last night so I slept in this morning.I'm feeling pretty darn good. I'm still tired but my mind is working great. The soreness in my breast is almost gone completely. Last night I had to go to the doctor. I was hearing a whistle in my left ear, Both of my ears were closed up and stuffy. I have been sneezing a bit as well. Dr. McCoy comes in and sees that I had my surgery and I tell him everything. He is going to send for the records on my surgery. He wants to go over all the test and pathology with me. He said I look better than I have in years. OK, so back to the whistle. He ask how I was doing? I said, I'm doing great other than this whistle in my ear. He said, have you thought about pulling it out ? I explained I hear it only at a certain volume of other noise or when I say the S sound. He ask me if I was sure no one else could hear it. I started hissing like a snake and ask, do you hear the whistle? He busted out laughing at me, no he didn't hear the whistle. I've lost my mind and instead of hearing voices I'm hearing a whistle. LOL Well come to find out, I have fluid building up behind my ear drums from sinus drainage. No big deal. He put me on Loratadine (an antihistamine) and Flonase. I ask him if he thought it could be fungus. He said no and that he thought it was just allergies. The thing is, I always seem to get bladder infections when I take antihistamines. Now, I think this is some type of fungus. Right now I can't afford any type of fungal defense supplements. I'm detoxing naturally the best I can and staying away from sugars. Do you have any ideas on this? I thought about not taking the Loradine and just doing the Flonase, but then I'm concerned that it will turn into an ear infection if I don't tend to the fluid. I have read many of the notes on fungus and yeast problems the ladies in the group have. At that time I was not concerned about this, but now I'm wondering if I have fungus and/or yeast. I hope you are doing better, you sound well. I can't wait until they get all of the poison out of you. I feel sooo much better. Are you going to have surgery soon ? Is your heart up to it ? I had to have an EKG done right before my surgery because of my quivering heart, just to be on the safe side. Everything works out in the end. I love you, have a GREAT DAY ! Guest guest
Rogene, Yes, he said the findings were consistant with that of implants. He blew me offf !!! I guess he still thinks I'm stupid. Or I could give him the benefit of the doubt and say he didn't want me to worry about it. He told me he fixed the problem. My family doctor is sending for all my records. He wants to know what they say and what they found. He thinks it's great that I'm doing so much better. He said I look better than I have in years. I will let you know when I get the results. Love Rogene <saxony01@...> wrote: , Has your surgeon said anything about what he found when he removed your implants? Guest guest
, I've been plagued by a fungal ear problem for years . . . The article Dede posted makes sense! . . . The treatments I've had are: antibiotic drops, sterioid drops, Lamisil ointment, Hall's Ear drops, and 3% hydrogen peroxide and heat. . . . This past week, I tried Castor Oil . . . It seems to be working! . . Of course, only time will tell! Everything I used worked at one time or another. I prefer not to use antibiotic or sterioid drops though. I'd suggest rinsing your ear out with 3% hydrogen peroxide before using anything else . . . That will clear out any accumulated junk in short order so whatever you use can get to the source of the problem. My ear problem seems to come on after traveling when we're changing altitudes . . . as in flying, or driving in the mountains. . . It doesn't help that we live on a mountain side! It probably forces fungal organisms out of hiding! Some time ago, I found that Lamisil worked great for sinus problems. . . Guest guest
~ I know it is a very salty way to do this but I love to put it in green olives and chew it up ! ! Its quite yummy that way, but look at the health bene's. Just be careful of the sodium content, it is very high ! Love Dede Olives are concentrated in monounsaturated fats and a good source of vitamin E.Because monounsaturated fats are less easily damaged thanpolyunsaturated fats, it's good to have some in our cells' outermembranes and other cell structures that contain fats, such as themembranes that surround the cell's DNA and each of its energy-producingmitochondria. The stability of monounsaturated fats translates into aprotective effect on the cell that, especially when combined with theantioxidant protection offered by vitamin E, can lower the risk ofdamage and inflammation. In addition to vitamin E, olives contain avariety of beneficial active phytonutrient compounds including polyphenols and flavonoids, which also appear to have significant anti-inflammatory properties. Cellular Protection Against Free Radicals Vitamin E is the body's primary fat-soluble antioxidant. It goesafter and directly neutralizes free radicals in all the fat-rich areasof the body. In combination, stable monounsaturated fats and vitamin Eadd a significant safety factor to cellular processes like energyproduction, a process that generates free radicals even when things arerunning smoothly. When cellular processes such as mitochondrial energy productionare not well protected, the free radicals produced can interact withand damage any nearby molecules—a process called oxidation. When acell's mitochondria become damaged, the cell cannot produce enoughenergy to supply its needs and dies. If a cell's DNA becomes damaged, the cell may mutate and become cancerous. Protection From Heart Disease Free radical damage can lead to numerous ailments. For example, whenfree radicals cause the oxidation of cholesterol, the oxidizedcholesterol damages blood vessels and builds up in arteries, and caneventually lead to heart attack or stroke. So, by preventing theoxidation of cholesterol, the nutrients in olives help to prevent heartdisease. Support Gastrointestinal Health If free radicals damage the cellular DNA in colon cells, the cellscan mutate into cancer cells. By neutralizing free radicals, thenutrients in olives help prevent colon cancer.A higher intake of both vitamin E and the monounsaturated fats inolives is actually associated with lower rates of colon cancer. Beneficial Anti-Inflammatory Effects The anti-inflammatory actions of the monounsaturated fats, vitamin Eand polyphenols in olives may also help reduce the severity of asthma, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis, three conditions where most of the damage is caused by high levels offree radicals. The vitamin E in olives may even help to reduce thefrequency and/or intensity of hot flashes in women going through menopause.See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
Rogene, I have used peroxide in my ears since I was a young girl. I actually love the tickle. Since I was young I have had problems with ear infections. I have never had wax build up, my ears run a fluid consently. Deafness runs in my family on both sides, so that's probably the reason I'm going hard of hearing so young. Well, that and the Heavy Metal back in the 80's & 90's. I do have castor oil, maybe I'll try it. I only ended up taking 1 of the sinus pillsthe doctor gave me because it made me sooo dehydrated even though I drink lots of water. I guess the one pill worked because the fluid in my ear dried up. It could have been the flonase, who knows.I also have some Lamisil here I can try. Thanks Rogene !!! Guest guest
Rogene, I was not aware that it took that much away from the garlic by cooking it, which stinks because I love garlic on and in everything, but I have a hard time handling it raw. I watch my Dad peal it and pop it into his mouth and I just don't see how he does it. All I can do is try it, but just the thought of it makes me feel like a child turning its head away from spinach or collard greens. Thanks for letting me know this although I'm quit disappointed. Guest guest
Rogene, I knew this the moment it came out of his mouth ! That's why I'm glad I have you ladies to educate me. Doesn't the word consistent in this case mean, the same as ? They found the same eliments in the tissue that they remove from my body that the implants themselves are made of.
