Guest guest
Hey : Don't let yourself get fatigued. It's as simple as that. Although some of the folks here do take Baclofen, and other meds for spasticity, stiffness, shakiness, etc., I don't take anything. But, when I have walked too far, stood too long, or overworked my legs, they are shakey. When I sit down, you can see the muscles twitch and jump. Just don't let yourself get too tired, or overuse your muscles. IMHO, that's the trick. Take care, Laurel Muscle shaking When I get fatigued, my muscles start to shake. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can do about it. A Breaux mabreaux@...

Guest guest
Good Point, but what happens when you are shaken at 9:00am in the morning and all you have done is to wake up! The shaking gets worse as the day goes on. My legs do not shake or move any more, not it is my torso, arms and hands. Guest guest
: Your doctor is so right! I have said that time and time again, less is best, listen to your body. I have had PLS for so many years now I stopped counting, and one thing I have learned that we can't do what we use to do, so do only the things you can do without over doing. I am very fortunate to have a wonderful husband who makes my life very easy, and takes very good care of me. So take it easy and try to make the best of a situation that could be a lot worse. Good Luck! Rita Luv & Hugs! ************************************* Some people succeed in spite of their handicap. Others succeed because of them. It's better to have Laugh Wrinkles than Worry Warts! Guest guest
, The solutiion is to lie down and rest! Your body no longer can move energy to and into your muscle cells as well and once energy runs out other bad things start to happen like severe muscle spasms and headaches and falls. Sometimes, rubbing the sore areas with your fingers or one ofr those wooden tools used for backrubs helps but then your arms start to ache from muscle fatigue. The real solution is to rest more. That is just as important as exercise and eating right. I know how hard that is to do as I want to do more when I feel well but then I'm always sorry. Guest guest
Rita I've wanted to ask you, do you exercise? I mean other than getting out and running around like a teenager in a sports car. Do you do a work out routine? Love, Donna > : > > Your doctor is so right! I have said that time and time again, less is > best, listen to your body.
