Natural Thyroid Hormone ADRENALSHi, I heard this weekend about a possible

connection between autoimmune disorders, like Hashimotos or s, and

celiac disease. Is anyone here familiar with this, and has anyone tried a

gluten-free diet? Can this diet relieve some of the thyroid and adrenal

symptoms? Is there anything someone should know when researching this

connection?

The ony way gluten free will help you is if you are sensitive to it. If

you are not, then no it will not lessen your symptoms. ALL autoimmune

diseases are related as autoimmune ois when your own immune system is

not acting right and attacking your own body in some way. thus when you

have one you are likely to have more than one as it is all the same

immune system that causes them. It is not just certain autoimmune

doseases but all of them.

My 9 year old daughter and I are both on a GFCF diet. She has been able to keep

her

thyroid symptoms under control by adhering to the diet. She has Hashi's, Type 1

and

Celiac (not confirmed by biopsy yet). she had astronomically high antibody

counts before

starting a GF diet. Her nutritionist also advised the CF diet and she has been

both GFCF
