Guest guest
I am on 27 1/2 mgs of HC daily (in divided doses), 3.5 grains of Armour (in divided doses) and 1 2/ Florinef tablets in the AM. My energy is still very poor altho my previously very low temps are running almost normal most of the time (between 98.4 and 98.6). I just got some lab work back. Altho my doctor has not called to discuss it yet, I would appreciate your interpretation and recommendations on where to go from here. TSH, High Sensitivity 0.01 L (says Out of Range) Ref 0.45-4.50 T4 Free Non Dialysis 2.4 H Ref 0 8-1.7 Cortisol AM 10.7 Ref 4.0-22.0 Microsomal TPO-Ab <10 Ref <35 Thyroglobulin antibodies <20 Ref <41 T3 Reverse 39 H (says Out of Range) Ref 11-32 There's a note below the T3 results which says " This test was performed using a kit that has not been approved or cleared by the FDA. The analytical performance characteristics of this test have been determined by Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute. This test should not be used for diagnosis without confirmation by other medically established means. " My doctor's notes on the bottom say " Cortisol low, no Hashimotos, Thyroid over-compensated. Guest guest
You are on too much Armrou definitely. And with the high RT3 I would switch to Cytomel. Having high RT3 blocks the thyroid from getting ot the cells even more evffectively than lwo cortisol does as it binds to the same receptoors that are needed for T3 to enter the cells. The ONLY way to clear it is to go on all T3 for at least 3 months. Thsi will clear oyur T4 out an allow the RT3 to leave. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
After you felt the hypo from the T4 leaving your system and began adding more T3 over the next few weeks, did you do this 25 mcgs at a time and boost at the same rate each week? And, can you tell me how much T3 you currently take? Many more thanks for your tremendous help! Patti

Guest guest
Would it be beneficial for me to begin cutting down or even discontinuing my Armour before I get my prescription for my Cytomel? I may not have it until late this next week and I am wondering if I am doing myself more harm than good by staying on the Armour since I now know I have a Reverse T3 problem.
