Guest guest
I'm really glad I was able to help you out. I tell you, I will NEVER lie silently in a doctor's office again and simply ASSUME he/she knows what they are doing. I will ALWAYS be an assertive self-advocate from now on. I am paying the price for not speaking up! At this point, I am still dealing with the irritating infection/drainage as a result of unsanitary practices at the Peachtree Bariatric Clinic in downtown Atlanta. My port is often very sore and swollen. Dr. Aceves is more than likely going to have to remove it for several months and then place another one on down the road. All of this was because I didn't want to take the time, nor pay the money, to go back to Mexico when I should have. So, to save a little time and a few bucks is going to end up costing me at least 2 more trips to Mexico and 2 more surgerys. Let's see, that will probably end up costing me around $3500??? Hmmmmm, I should have done it right the first time and it would have cost me around $500.00 instead. Live and learn! But, hey, I'm glad someone else could learn from my mistake! But, even with all of this, the band....MY BAND is the greatest thing in the world! I wouldn't trade it for a warm browine with a tall glass of ice cold milk!! lol Jenni CurrieAlli Dye <allygator1963@...> wrote: Hi Jenni, Your posts saved me from getting poked twice with the same needle! I saw he was about to poke me for the 2nd time and spoke up and explained what happened to you. When he saw how nervous it made me, he offered to change the needle but he would have definitely poked me twice with the same needle had I not said anything!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing your story!Ally Re: Rick and Jo Sched Jan 30 Anyone else?? Rick and Jo, It doesn't matter that you are in Atlanta. I would still suggest you go back to Mexico for your fills. DO NOT go to the Peachtree Bariatric Center for your aftercare. Although they were very nice and were very supportive that I had gone to Mexico for the surgery, I am STILL dealing with an infection caused by them using the same needle over and over. That was in October and here it is the middle of January! GO BACK TO DR. ACEVES! Surely you can get some good prices on flying to San Diego from Atlanta! It would be worth every penny! Guest guest
Alli Side Effects Side Effects of Alli The potentially uncomfortable, but not serious side effects which may occur with Alli have been well documented. They relate specifically to the drugs ability to supress the absorption of fatty acids into the body, and the disposal of unused dietary elements. Some users may experience some of the following side effects : Oily stools. As the Alli weight loss pill reduces the production of an enzyme in the intestine, which converts fatty dietary elements into fatty acids, some fat from digested food may not be processed. As a result the body will find a way to release basic fat content from the body, usually excreted naturally. Due to the nature of the left over substances, stools can often appear oily and emit an unfortunate odour. Flatulence. Another means by which the body has been known to release unwanted waste is by flatulence. While this is a totally natural and harmless release, it can prove potentially embarrassing and uncomfortable as the customer may not have full control of their bowels at all times. Vitamin deficiency. Even though Alli is specifically structured to take out the fatty content of dietary intake, some vitamins may consist of fatty content, which may not be absorbed into the body. It is therefore recommended that while using taking Alli, the user also takes a daily dose of vitamin tablets. While the oily stools and flatulence are slightly unfortunate side effects, they can be controlled by reducing the dietary fat content to somewhere in the region of 15 grams per meal. Personally, I think that taking something that alters how our digestive system works is taking a huge risk. Check out their conclusion of their product: Conclusion We are currently living in a world where over 65% percent of American adults are either overweight or clinically obese. The problem is now spreading quickly throughout the rest of the world, with both developing and developed countries showing increased obesity problems. Not only is this putting a massive strain on the medical profession, but there are increased health issues including possible heart attacks, diabetes, depression and bone / joint troubles. See what they say will happen to us if we dont take Alli? See what a strain on the medical profession obese people cause? Jeezus ............... what a load of mierda. I wonder what diseases this will cause and what pills they have for it?? I think this is as bad and potentially as harmful as breast implants ! I ..........VOTE..........dont take it ! .... Guest guest
There has been a lot of research on fat soluble vitamin changes with Xenical and the results show no deficiency, even after a number of years of use. However, the pharmaceutical company recommends a MVI daily. The MVI should be taken at a different time then the medication so I always suggest that my patients take the MVI before bed. Alli has been approved as OTC because it has been so safe. Hope this helps.
