Guest guest
Thanks for the loving and encouraging note and gentle reminder that it is ok if it doesn't all get done in one day....We are taking Sara and Mark out to eat for Sara's birthday and then I am hoping Bob might fill up to an hour at Walmart...It is so much easier to shop with him around....Miss Sara could shop forever.... I hadn't thought about doing exercises before I get out of bed..but will try it... Thanks again...Hope you are having a grand time wherever you are.... Hugs and love, Melinda
Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion, Shirley. I will certainly ask my rheumy and/or pain doc about that. I needed to go out today to get a hostess gift for our friends that we will be staying with next week and I was only gone 2 hours, at least an hour of which was spent in traveling. Remember I'm up in the mountains and there are all these neat little villages with their own little shops. By the time I got back I could barely climb the stairs to the condo (actually less than a full flight). I am reducing my prednisone levels each week trying to get rid of it and right now I am thinking I need to raise it instead. The pain levels just keep elevating instead of ebbing. BTW, for all of you that like antiques or antique reproductions, I was at a place today called "Mast General Store" which was founded in the late 1800's. I saw things in there that I haven't seen in stores since I was a little girl, including candies which really brought back memories of childhood. They have an internet site at: http://www.mastgeneralstore.com Christy, you should really check this out. Jane Re: I'm back Your energy level sounds like mine has all day. I didn't get dressed until 5:30. I got up this morning, sat down to have a cup of coffee and read the paper and had a terrible bout of vertigo and nausea. I came back to bed and laid low until early this afternoon when things started to improve. I haven't had any other symptoms other than joint pain though and that's a constant so I guess I am lucky. Hope you feel better tomorrow.
