Guest guest
My son was on MB12 shots from June through middle of September. I saw some good things but no great wows for speech. Due to his genetic mutations i switched him to hydroxy B12 shots. These didn't turn out to be better for him. In fact, I felt he was doing better on the MB12 ones with his moods, awareness, etc. His doctor and I decided to take him off the shots for 2 weeks, give his body a rest and then I would start up the MB12 ones again. It's been about 10 days and he has developed some stims that he never had before. He is shaking his hands and his head and smelling things. All things he has never done. Do you think this is due to his body not getting the B12? He also had a meltdown in school twice this week. He hasn't done that in a long time either. What have others seen after removing the shots? Thanks, Alisa

Guest guest
If it were me, the first part of my investigation would be to restart the shots and see if they go away. Guest guest
When we removed the shot, our regression was different but, my child was very young (around 17 months old)....we saw a loss of language, eye contact, awareness, etc...He became very withdrawn again. For us, stimming is related to yeast. Could it be yeast? lgroveman wrote: > > My son was on MB12 shots from June through middle of September. I saw some good things but no great wows for speech. Guest guest
---Maybe it's yeast. Though nothing else has changed in his diet, routine, etc. to warrant in increase in yeast. Maybe i'll up his yeast protocol for a week or two. He is not usually a child with yeast issues. I'm also going to restart the MB12 shots in 2 days. It's interesting how you don't realize the good something is doing until you remove it. Guest guest
we stopped our shots over the summer for about 6 weeks b/c we did not think they were helping really. We ended up with a lot of stimming, loss of words and eye contact. Per our DAN's recommendation we re-started the shots and those things all got better. good luck... > > > > > > > > My son was on MB12 shots from June through middle of September.
