Guest guest
Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT sign the contract with them. They are a RIP OFF. Any place that wants YOU to pay THEM to work for them, is a SCAM!!. You will never get paid to work for them because they keep you in " training " forever!!! Go read their contract and you will see exactly what I am talking about. Also, if you go to www.mtdesk.com and do a search for TransAm, you find a lot of information, everything bit of it bad!! Guest guest
Hello ashiiryaplates@... (Knackerdog), In reference to your comment: è Companies to avoid like the plague: AMA TransAm, è Medquist, L & H, Edix, Dictaphone. Will post updates if I è learn of any more. Sorry, I have to disagree with you on Medquist and Edix. I personally work for Edix and I know people who work for Medquist. I can speak from personal experience when I say that Edix is a great company to work for. I'm curious as to why you don't agree, but of course it's your business if you don't care to share. Amen to that! Any reputable company will provide the equipment either free or at a nominal fee. I would probably also steer clear of any company who gave you a list of things to buy at your own expense (not dictionaries, I mean hardware or software). Guest guest
Everything I have heard has been BAD. Go to MTDaily.com and do a search on the main board and I think the company board, and you'll find lots of comments, all negative. Guest guest
I've not had personal experience with them, but I can tell you what hundreds of MTs have said. ==> TransAm is known as TranScam. I'm sure others will post with details. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Career Step Graduate www.careerstep.com 46/Texas ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ANYONE WORKED OR WORKING FOR AMA TRANSAM > Has anyone ever worked for, working now, or ever heard of AMA TransAm to give > me some feed back on them. Guest guest
Why Medquist? I work for them, and things have gone fairly well so far. Guest guest
If you want to work for AmaTrans (not sure of spelling), I have one word to say to you--don't!!! The word about them is uniformly bad. Though I haven't worked for these people, I am well aware that they scam to get money from you and they never really pay you. It seems that you never get out of their " mentoring " program and you have to pay at least 300 dollars to get their software. I'd stay away from them if I were you. Hope this helps. Guest guest
I took a test for medquist and did very well on it. Can any of you let me know what is like to work for them? Thank you. Guest guest
Hi, I am sorry to say I was one of the unfortunate victims of AMA TransAm. I bought the foot pedal at $375.00 and was on their so-called " Mentoring " program. It was only SOAP notes, and always from the same doctor. I must have been on that program for at least six months and never advanced from there. There was never any real feedback. They sent you the corrected files along with the voice files and you corrected it yourself. Please save yourself a heartache and avoid them. Please send this information to anyone that you know regarding this company.. macd621@... wrote: > Hi everyone, > > Has anyone ever worked for, working now, or ever heard of AMA TransAm to give > me some feed back on them. Guest guest
Working for MedQuist has been great for Trisha and I. The thing about MedQuist is that it is so large that it seems experiences differ from office to office. Quixote Re: ANYONE WORKED OR WORKING FOR AMA TRANSAM > Everything I have heard has been BAD.
