Guest guest
Jackie, I don't know about your e-mail problems, but I do know that yesterday my e-mail was not working and I am not sure whether or not I received all e-mails from yesterday today and do not remember receiving any from you. Anyway, to answer your question, the first would be anterior chamber was deep. Sorry, I do not know the second part. Also, there is a way to make the degree symbol with most word processing programs and I am sure that there are people in this e-mail group who can tell you how to do it. I do not use the degree symbol but simply type out degrees, as there is a conflict with symbols and the program that I use at the hospital where I work. Hope that helps to answer some of your questions. Margaret >>> " jacqueline urton " 10/05/01 02:09AM >>> Hi don't know why i have not gotten any medical emails for two days. I sent an emails yesterday requesting work help and have not recieved any returns ...... hhhhmmm sentence is as follows: there was an 80% epithelia defect, the s/l angi chamber was deep with 2+ s/l cell and flare. if you don't have the temperature symbol on your keyboard do you use the word degree??? thanks for the help ..... jackie _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS MAILING LIST send a blank email to nmtc-unsubscribe PLEASE VISIT THE NMTC WEB SITE - http://go.to/nmtc
Guest guest
Jackie For degree symbol hold down Alt key and type 0186 in right numerical keyboard. Hope this works for you. Guest guest
Sorry I don't know the " cell and flare " phrase either. I did want to comment on the degree question. I was taught that most clients wouldn't want you to use the symbol UNLESS it was specifically for temperature but to spell out degree any other time. If you do want to use the symbol, does your word processing program have up beside " File " and " Tools " and such a menu for " Insert " ? That's where I click and then select " symbol " from the menu and a box pops up with all kinds of symbols you can look through. If yours has that, it should have the degree symbol in there somewhere. ----Original Message Follows---- To: nmtc Subject: word help Date: Fri, 05 Oct 2001 02:09:34 Hi don't know why i have not gotten any medical emails for two days. Guest guest
Jackie, You can use degree or you can use ALT + 248. That will give you a degree sign °. I'm pretty sure that will work on any personal computer. Sorry but I can't help you with the other questions. jacqueline urton wrote: > Hi don't know why i have not gotten any medical emails for two days. Guest guest
Hello sassylassy85@... (jacqueline urton), In reference to your comment: è sentence is as follows: there was an 80% epithelia è defect, the s/l angi chamber was deep with 2+ s/l cell è and flare. if you don't have the temperature symbol on è your keyboard do you use the word degree??? It would be epithelial defect. Margaret was correct about anterior chamber, and cell and flare is correct. Where I work, we cannot use any symbols or superscript or subscript, so we spell out degree(s). Hope this helps. Jan " Typing is my life " (said sarcastically) Remember...
