Guest guest
Socks are bad underwear is worse.I refuse to wear underwear, and will wear socks if I absolutely have to. Subject: Re:real recoveryTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 11:45 AM I am glad I videotaped some "before" footage. I found it in the last month or so and I was amazed at the sensory stuff going on that I hadn't noticed at the time. He was screaming at me for making him put his socks on and then wanted to change his pants and said "ow" when we put his shoes on, though they were definitely a comfortable kind that was the right size. Can't wait to get an "after" video and put it online. He is still recovering, but it is amazing how much he has changed from two years ago. Biggest change is that his sensory issues are gone (needs special diet to maintain) and he is talking now (still needs work, but he communicates using understandable phrases). > > I wish they would have shown the kids talking. Guest guest
What do you think helped the most getting your child to talk? Guest guest
is vinpocetine a supplement? prescription? Re:real recovery I tried a bunch of things and then this (below) ended up giving us the best results. Someone on the Autism-Mercury board said that these things did not work for them, so take that into consideration. My son started speaking more clearly, saying more words, more complex things and started to talk to peers more within about three weeks of starting this:10,000 IU Vit A400 IU Vit D5mg Vinpocetine 2-3 times per day> >> > I wish they would have shown the kids talking. Guest guest
I would be very interested in what dietary interventions you have done. Our son is very high functioning and yet continues to have many sensory issues - no underwear, no socks, nothing tight, nothing to bulky, only certain pants and shirts, eats very few things due to texture and smell, etc. We have done a ton of biomed with our boys with a great amount of improvement but still can't get over the sensory hurdle. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
are you free of all casein, soy, gluten even trace amounts, oils and cc issues? in cases I have seen that, it changes when that changes RE: Re:real recovery I would be very interested in what dietary interventions you have done. Guest guest
Thank you Subject: Re:real recoveryTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 8:37 PM Kimmy- vinpocetine can cause a headache. To prevent this, one can take phosphatidylcholine (PC) with it. For my little 2 year old we started at 5mg 3x a day then lowered to maintenance dose of 2.5mg 3X a day. It can take effect immediately or up to 10 days. My notes I think are from J. McCandless. We didn't see anything happen on it. I will do another trial in a couple of months. Tell us if you see anything happen.Iveta> > > >> > > > I wish they would have shown the kids talking. Seeing is believing. I > > > > had mine talking at my presentation.
