Guest guest
Oh, here we go again ... this word gets me every time. Just want to double-check with you guys to see what you think. This is on a preemie who presents for follow-up of feeding difficulties and BPD. The patient has been weaned off s/l *theophylline* for the last four days. Her Lasix will soon be discontinued. She has been off her oxygen for the last week and has been " satting " fine during the day and night. She is slowly increasing amounts of feeds taken and is continuing to use breast milk with NeoSure to fortify up to 24 calorie. .... this doc insists on pronouncing this " selofalin " (with a soft " s " ) which sends me *every* time to my D & D. I can only come up with theophylline. Is there anything else this could be?? I will *try* this time to commit to memory. Also, should I change " satting " to saturating? Thank you again for all your help! Shel
