Had a opportunity to try a Bioness foot drop device. Unsure if were wireless or

not. The model I " test-drove " had a battery pack that strapped onto my calf,

then maybe wires that were maybe on the top of my foot? It's been a couple of

years.

The device had an electrical switch about my heal. When I removed the weight

from my foot, it triggered the electrodes to lift my right foot.

I was going to have to pay a thousand dollars or so. I politely declined.

I have a bioness L300.  I have had it for about 2 years.  It works great.  It

makes a big difference in how far I can walk when my husband and I go on longer

walks.

But since starting Prokarin, I rarely use it anymore.  The prokarin has taken

away my foot drop.  Now I will only wear it if we are going on long hikes.  I

don't turn it on unless I really need to use it now.  Before prokarin I

couldn't walk very far without foot drop tripping me.

The bioness is a wonderful invention.  When I purchased it the price was

$6000.  Insurance did not cover it.  Now the price is up to $8000 when I asked

about it.  I did recieve a $2000 discount by complain about the price of it.
