Guest guest
They were doing these as part of an experiment 2 years ago in Australia. My husband qualified to be part of the testing phase. But unfortunately he doesn't cope well with injections. The first time they went to inject him in the knee (just to take out some fluid before they put the chicken cartilige in) he froze up. So they told him he couldn't continue in the program. Since then he's been taking glucosamine tablets regularly and now his knee is fine. He swears by glucosamine. I know some of you are on LOTS of lists, so I'm wondering if you guys would pass this on...I'm trying to find someone who's got fibromyalgia and has had knee replacement surgery, because my mom needs it but they're afraid to do it because of the fibro. They don't know how it would react and so on. Right now she's getting those injections of chicken cartilidge, but we're not sure how well they're going to work. If anyone knows anyone or has had it themselves, please contact me and let me know how it went and so on. Thanks.mandilee13_99@...
