Guest guest
I'm finding it not that hard to get it all. I pack a lot into a big green smoothie in the morning and drink it all day. Yesterday I used three cups of combined kale, spinach, swiss chard and cabbage; blueberries, strawberries, banana and pear; ginger, a little green powder, spirulina and kelp; and a tablespoon of coconut oil. (And it tasted good.) For liquid I use diluted juice or almond, sunflower or coconut milk. That's breakfast/lunch. For dinner, a salad with romaine, cabbage and sprouts; broccoli, tomato, carrots and radishes; red and yellow peppers; and some walnuts. Also a bison patty. Snacks were an orange, an apple and an avocado. I think I probably got more than 9 cups but I don't count anymore. My challenge is to not lose weight, thus the walnuts, coco oil and avocado. And, by the way, in one of Dr. Wahls's videos, she said 6 cups would work for women, but the more, the better. Martha
Guest guest
Yesterday I ate a bag of frozen broccoli, organic not available right now since I'm going out of town Monday for two months (I ordered it to be delivered to me in Texas). The bag contained 5 cups. I also ate bison liver and onions with carrots on the side. I drank green smoothies in my vegan days but I eat less fruit now, especially those high in sugar. It's easier to eat the vegies when there is variety. I don't eat many of the things on your list anymore because of food sensitivities and blood sugar issues. --- I mscured , " marthaellen52 " wrote: > > I'm finding it not that hard to get it all.
