Guest guest
Ann, I'm not sure if you were asking someone in particular or all of us but yes - I took neurontin first for awhile. When it stopped working well I was switched to lyrica which works well for me. Margaret B > Hi, > > > > > > I have recently been prescribed with Lyrica, previously took > Neurotin. Guest guest
Ann & Margaret, I also took Neurontin before Lyrica. The Neurontin stopped working and they switched me to Lyrica which seemed to be working. But, Lyrica is non formulary for my insurance so is too expensive for me so they gave me Nortriptaline. Nortriptaline seems to help a little but not as well as Lyrica. Guest guest
Barbara, Several years ago my neurologist put me on Nortriptaline when Neurontin didn't work. It helped my migraines and I took it 2x/day. I also had a prn to take on days it didn't seem enough. I took Zomig if I ended up with a migraine. Thank God I'm not currently in a Migraine Cluster!!! Guest guest
Hi Margaret, I was asking everyone. Thanks for your reply. I am a bit anxious about switching even though neurontin did not seem to helping. Any side effects you can think of? Guest guest
Is Lyrica a medication that helps you get REM sleep? I know that it was recently FDA approved, but I don't remember what it is primarily used for.
