When I went to have mine in Atlanta they wanted to do a

mammogram first and kept asking me why my Doctor hadn't ordered one. I told them to ask my doctor!!!!!! First it was the technition who asked, then a shift supervisor, then the big supervisor. She acted very annoyed with me and said they couldn't possibly do just the US because it wasn't a fale-safe way to spot cancer! I explained I had ruptured implants and I didn't want a mammogram and the supervisor looked at me and said, "Who told you they were ruptured? How would you know that?" Long story short (2 hours of arguing) they did the US and missed the 27 year old capsule that had not been removed from my left breast when my 1st implants were replaced...and it was full of liquid and junk. Pretty difficult to miss, but they did! And they're the experts?!?! They did manage to find the free floating silicone in the right side. I guess i should be grateful for at least 50% accuracy. The medical field does give us such comfort! 50% is a failing grade in school! Best wishes for a successful surgery!
