BlankThis is for Jeannie in ohio, about memory loss.

I couldn't get my e-mail to go through to her so I am posting to the group.

I think most of us with chiari have the memory loss.

I hate it but what can we do about it.

I wish your husband could be more understanding for you.

This is not something we want to do.

My kids joke with me and say ole crazy mom has done it again, but deep down it is

really scary, because I don't know what the future holds with this.

Don't ever think you are just feeling sorry for yourself, you are not crazy. (or

are we ha ha).

I still get harassed for leaving the oil cap off my car, I won't live that down

soon.

with love deb

Did you lose your hair with chemo? I had chemo when I was in the

hospital, the doc said I may or may not lose it. Well, I lost most of

mine...and when I got out I shaved the stragglers. It was quite

freeing to be bald, plus it grows back. Will the memory loss go away?

Either way, you are right about being alive, its better than the

alternative. I hope your memory problems resolve themselves. Thanks

for your prayers, I shall send some right back.

Hey everyone,

Yes, those 3 hour naps are great, except that I only sleep 2-3 hours at a time anyway.

What I hate is the way people say the memory loss is related to my age. Now here's the great thing about that, I'm only 51. Don't you love the way you can say only when you are in your 50's! And n, don't say a word, I never think of you as 71.5. I remember being totally shocked, in a good way, when finding out your age.

Went to my niece's 5th birthday party earlier, got to listen to her dad and his family discuss the issue of MS being genetic because my younger brother and 2 cousin's in NY also have MS. I thought I was the first one in the family to be diagnosed, until about 5 years after I was diagnosed and my mom told me about 1 of the cousins having been diagnosed for at least 20 years and was now wheelchair bound.

Now back to the memory issue, I left home without her present and my soda. Now, I knew I was going to her birthday party, why would I not reember to take her present? Oh, I also left without my jacket. Even when I got outside, it didn't dawn on me to go back into my apt and at least get my jacket. I went to Wally World after-wards and when I left there, the temp had dropped about 20 degrees with a strong wind and sleet. Not fun. Oh, and what is the first thing Gracie said, "Where's my present?" And my sister said she wouldn't notice. lol.

Luv and blessings to everyone,

Tina

Hi Jolie! She is good, thanks so much for asking. They are still

healing some, like some of the capped ones are sensitive to cold or

chewy stuff. But were they pulled the tooth is doing fine so thats a

good thing, as long as no caps are falling off. :) and no more pain!

Yayyy! How are you!? Lots of hugzzz
