Guest guest
Hi Tammy: Nov. 19th. Got it - my husband will be having simple surgery for a hernia repair that morning. So while I'm waiting, I'll be sending prayers your way!! Laurie > a, > > I am sorry I am behind on my mail, but I want to let you know I am sorry things didn't go as expected, but am glad to hear your mom is doing good today. I will continue my prayers for you and all the others here on the list. > > Ron's bone scan came back this week, and it looks like a tumor in the groin area. They won't know for sure unless they do a biopsy, but since Ron has decided against treatment for the cancer, I am not sure what he is going to do. > > My EDG came back just showing gastoritis or something like that, now i have to get an colonoscopy on the 19th. I am dreading it and all the kids (they are adults) are a bit frightened. But hey if they can figure out what is making me get sick all the time, I will be happy. I am very much hoping it is just stress. I hate asking prayers for myself but if you all could remember me in your prayers that day, I will be very grateful. It is scheduled for 7 a.m. > Well I gotta run. > tammy > >
Guest guest
Thank you a. My sister in law says the colonoscopy hurts, but my doc said I won't remember it. so I was glad to get your letter. Ron's pain is getting worse, I want him to go to hospital, but he won't . He has an appointment with his onc on wed and he's pcp also, so hopefully one of them will do something for him.He doesn't want hospice out until he is completely bed ridden, but the way this pain is going, I am afraid it won't be long. He has slept the day away with out any pain pills, so I am really getting worried. well I am gonna get going here, you take care and you and your family and everyone on here are in my prayers always tammy Re: Hello Tammy, Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to write given your circumstances, I am sure time is tough to come by. Don't you worry yourself about the colonoscopy. They are a breeze. I had my first one last year and it honestly was nothing. The prep is the worst part and even that is not that bad. The 1.5 oz of some oozy drink is tough to consume.. but once that is done.. just dont make any plans for the evening and you are all set. There is not cramping or anything , just the feeling you need to go. Its weird because eventually its clear liquid... , but then you know you are clean as a whistle. hey, look at it this way to.. you lose a good 5 lbs in a day !! a tamela scott wrote:

Guest guest
Laurie: Thanks,it always helps when someone else cares. We are actually looking forward to Thanksgiving, and Nick will east small portions and watch his diet. He was frustrated because he is not used to being unable to do anything and felt helpless. I had him read some of these posts and he said he never realized how many suffer the same way from the same things. Seems patience and time heal a lot of things and you have to be innovative sometimes to make them work. Take care and thanks again for your prayers and support Jane & Nick
