Guest guest
Hi ladies, I had my doc appt this morning. Everything went good, I had the glucose test. The drink was not that bad, I got it all down but it was a little sweet for first thing in the morning. Doc said that the leg cramps are normal, and eating the banana a day and taking extra calcium is all I can do to alleviate them. My BP was low 104 over 60, and baby's hearbeat was fine. I gained +3 lbs. this month, so I am at +5 for the total pregnancy. I have another appt in 3 weeks, I can not believe it is time for 3 week appt's, I can see the end coming! I also went to my hospital and did all the pre-admission paperwork, so we would not have to do it when I was in labor. I can not believe how fast this pregnancy is going by. We got the last two pieces of nursery furniture - the dresser/changing station and crib on Sunday. All that is left to do in the nursery is paint the baseboards and the fan, and have the carpet cleaned. Hopefully that will be done in the next 2 weeks, then we can have a baby nursery and not a closet of baby things. Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry this is so long, I can not seem to ever keep my messages short! Kim 27 weeks, 5 days Due 8-16-
Guest guest
Kim, Glad to hear everything went well at the dr's today. Sounds like you are making wonderful progress in the nursery as well. I remember when I finished the nursery I use to love to just go in there and sit in the glider. The nursery is always so relaxing - for me anyway! I think you will start going to 2 week appts starting at 30 weeks, at least that's the way it is here. You know you are getting close when the appts change over. Yippee you are heading into the home stretch. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann Kim R. Update / Doc Appt Hi ladies,I had my doc appt this morning. Everything went good, I had the glucose test. Guest guest
Pam, I feel the same way, it is going fast. I look at all the posts and see how far along everyone is, and it seems just like yesterday you said that you were pg and became a member! I am excited to meet this little person, I hope August comes quickly! Kim R. > Kim > > I'm glad your appt went well. I hope your glucose test comes back > good. Guest guest
That is so funny that you say that, I sit in the glider now and look at the border, it is so relaxing. I just can not actually believe that we are preparing a nurssery and have a baby on the way. You think that I would beleive it with the kicks and punches he gives me, and the belly I have. I guess I will beleive it when he is here. We are excited. Kim R. > Kim, > > Glad to hear everything went well at the dr's today. Sounds like you are making wonderful progress in the nursery as well. Guest guest
, Thanks for asking, we are getting extremely excited, the last 11 weeks are going to be a killer waiting time. We are getting ready, we put the nursery together this weekend, it is great. I really can't believe that we are going to need it. Putting all the little clothes away in the drawers, and really setting up a real room makes it seem so much more real, better than having baby things stuffed in the closet. We are over ready, it seems like he coming home tomorrow now that the room is almost completed. I have only gained 5 lbs to date, I had ms so bad in the beginning that I lost 6 lbs, I have gained that back, plus the 5 to date. Hope you are feeling well.
