My hubby figured out that our HP scanner came with software that allows one to scan a document into a searchable .pdf file . . . Then, there is a feature that will actually read the file out loud to you! . . . If you're interested, let me know and I can seen a screen print to you showing you where to look. If you have an HP scanner, and vision problems, you may want to check this out. Regardless, if you have a .pdf file you want to convert to electronic text, you can shrink the pages to fit on the screen (the more pages visible, the better - or you may have to do it in stages) . . . Then, using the "|" command, sweep over the text, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into a document. Rogene
