Guest guest
Val, Human frailty and chronic illnesses can cause some people to behave in a rude and crude manner, but we guard against this kind of behavior in this group. I hope you will come back to us, and participate as you are able. We miss you. Hugs, MM
Guest guest
Val, please believe me when I tell you that I also joined a different group, for fibro, and the same thing happened, but it hasn't here. Even when there was a problem the owner and other moderators took care of it quickly. This is very nice group of people and the moderators that I see here now are sweet and nice, just dont tell them I said that okay? a C

Guest guest
Dear , Yes I choose to keep going for as long as I can but i also like my lifestyle and home so i struggle on for that too. On bad days it would be easy to give up but I am a fighter. My family know that when I get home at 4.0pm I go straight to bed until 5.0PM then i can cope with tea. Well off to work tomorrow after 2 weeks holiday so must go to bed. Guest guest
Dear Val, Welcome back. So glad to have you back with us. I have a friend who was born in Yorkshire, and spent the war years in the underground in London with her Mum. She was there for eye surgery when the war broke out. She went on to become a nurse serving in your army in the South Pacific after the war. She currently lives in Arizona, having retired from her second or third career. Very active lady. She just returned from her latest visit to London, and York. So, not having much luck with finding effective medications you can tolerate? Sounds a lot like some of us, here. We have run the gamut of known agents, and are now looking for new drugs, or new combinations of drugs. I wish you well in that search. Please keep writing, let us know how you are doing, what you think about things, share a joke, vent when angry frustration gets the better of you, whine (we offer cheese with that...teehee), add a prayer to the general multitude, if you go for that sort of thing. And, most importantly, keep the communication lines open, as we are here for each other 24/7. Someone is almost always online, and although our time zone differences rarely let us put a chat group together, you are more than welcome to enter the chat room and ask others to join you at any time. I'm so sorry the other group wasn't nice, but don't let that stop you from trying again. Hugs, MM aka: Mike, one of the moderators
Guest guest
, Thanks for letting us know about Val. I am so pleased with this group - because of the collective knowledge - the offer of sincere support - the humor - and the fact that for the 4 or so months I have been a member I have not known of anyone being in sincere disagreement with anyone. I hope you post soon Val - and - please don't feel you owe any explaination because you sure don't - just start writing posts like you had never been away. Guest guest
Dear mike, Thankyou soooo much for that lovely post i feel so much better here now, I don't have to worry that somebody will get nasty again. You seem a very friendly bunch. No medication is a problem Prednisolone works best for me but am down to 5mg which does nothing, i just worry about my ESR inflammatory blood test being up all the time. Care here is very limited and I can only see the specialist once a year, the local rheumies are useless and my Gp who is lovely admits I know more about lupus than he--p I have bought him wallace book to read lol Well its 10.45pm here so i'm off to bed will catch up with you tomorrow.
