Now, high cholesterol that is resistant to meds and/or diet and exercise is very symptomatic of thyroid disease.High blood pressure is too. Help with Labs Hey all! I've not posted in a while. My doc is still "teedling" me along with the 's T3 therapy meds. and I do feel much better. We test urine and saliva again on the 10th. I wish he'd put me on Armour and get it over with... argh! I have a male friend who's having lots of problems and he doesn't have puter access so I told him I'd post his latest set of labs for him and get some insight from you guys. (His blood pressure, and cholesterol are way high even on meds.) Many thanks in advance for any advice! However, he does a strange ratio of his kidney products there (BUN and the other one), and he has a liver enzyme that is overboard. Symptoms? Has he had actual thyroid testing done anywhere?
