Guest guest
Greg, My brother was Stage III 10/01; had resection and 5 of 8 lymph nodes were metastatic colonic adenocarcinoma--6 months of 5 FU/Lev. CEA 1.5--until 11/03 PET/CT indicated metastatic left-side retropenitoneal lymphadenopathy. Presently obtaining opinions on surgery, chemo, etc. My humble opinion is to take the time to research, search and determine best there is up front--before first surgery--not after this beast has reared its ugly head again. I fear there is so much shock, denial and hurt that one just wants to do " something. " It really pays to find out as much as you can early on. Good luck and best wishes to all, Gurlstar (betty)
