Turns out its Plantar fasciitus that has gone on so long that now I have a plantar " fibroma. " Who knew? I wonder how many of us ignore some things and chalk them up to the Fibro demon when they could be something else that is treatable? Anyone? I had to buy new shoes, and I roll a sock under my arch when I walk around the house with socks on.. It helps support it... You can also get orthopaedic inserts made... Guest guest Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 I am always aware of that problem, as I am also dealing with endometriosis, (and on again off again plantar fascitius) - so I have to try and decide where the pain is coming from, and that is not easy! As pain is suppose to be our personal warning sign of health issues, one doesn't like to ignor it...but I have sat too many times in front of a doctor, trying to expalin why I didn't come sooner...I don't like to push the health system too much in case they ignor me when I really need them! I had started to ware my sons shues after he out grew them. and I could not See bran new shues be thow out so I started to wear them and it had helped my bunions alot. the rest is it. Now I make sure that I shoes are alot bigger. I should of done this years ago. Another thing one person that Iknow told me to take card bourd and cut a peace out of where the heel would go or spot and put it in your shoe. That is when I started looking for things that would work for my feet. bur it works. If I put on shoes that don't have it I know the diffent. Rox. They are so cushiony soft on the inside.. I wear my UGGs summer and winter even though I get some looks in Summer..
