Guest guest
There was a very interesting article in The Seattle Times today titled " Life-threatening allergies seen with more use of latex gloves " . It describes adverse reactions and is relevant to what we discuss on this list. It mentions foods to avoid that have similar proteins. The FDA reported 2,330 allergic reactions and 5 deaths. Currently more than 400 latex lawsuits working their way through state and federal courts. Would it be correct to write that most of our children were first " handled " by these gloves when they were delivered and examined? Wouldn't it be weird if this was the culprit for some of the children described as autistic from birth? I could post the entire article, but it is quite long and I don't want to irritate anybody. You can look it up by searching The Seattle Times archive for June 4th and use the key word latex gloves. I would appreciate discussing this with anyone who is interested and I can send it to anyone who doesn't know how to look it up. Thanks, Judy
