prayers from Lake Isabella

I am so glad to hear everyone getting together and

uniting after this horifyingly evil incident.

We live in the podunkiest town in Central California

in the middle of the mountains in a place called Lake

Isabella. Our whole community counts at about 8,000.

There have been prayer meetings scheduled everywhere.

Flags are of course flying at half mast all over.

My 15 yo son had bought flowers for a girl, he took

half of them and put them in a vase his grandmother

had made and asked if we could go put these on her

grave and pray asking for protection from this horror.

I had a really hard time not crying with my son, and

finally just let go, and then so did he. We both

needed to and I thank God that he allowed my son to

bring this to me.
