Guest guest
, I'm sorry that you didn't feel you got good responses, but I really don't think anything was intentional. Many times posters will ask a question that only a few (if any) others might know the answer to...and those few may not look at the board every day! For example, offhand I myself do not know how to get disability payments...and most caregivers of (retired) older patients have not had need to look into this, so they didn't reply. Anything you could tell us about this topic would be very helpful, as I am sure you are correct in that others would find the info valuable. On Oct 30, Dave posted that he was going to have a liver pump implanted after a successful " downstaging " of his liver mets. I hope that everything went well and that you/he will update us on what happened. Best Wishes, > My husband, who has Stage IV colon cancer with metasisis to his liver, and I have also felt 'blown off' by this group. Both of us have posted messages with no response--not even a welcome note. In fact, I asked about how one goes about getting disability payments when you are not covered by an employer. We found the information through other sources, but I think that this would be considered somewhat valuable information to others than just me. We continue to read some of the posts in order to get information, but are now reluctant to participate.
