Help with several drug names

This patient has cellulitis with ingrown toenail.

1. Doc dictates....Patient was given a prescription for pen VK 1 500

mg q.6h.

Would the 1 be one or 1?

2. We will start the patient on a third generation s/l syphillis

sporin ( she is pregnant and would not be a candiate for Levaquin or

Cipro).
