Guest guest
Thanks for asking !! Things went great !! The ECG shows a slight enlarging of my left atrium, but doc says that because of my height and weight (5'7 " and overweight all my life - untill now !!) that is usually the case, he is not concerned. He will read the ECG and I go back in November to discuss it and do a check-up. On the 'mill' I hit my target rate in 3.5 minutes... (152bpm) and went the distance (another 4 minutes) and hit 173bpm. He asked me if I wanted to do any more (I am a runner/walker and so my endurance was probably the key to his question) and I said... " you have your info, right ? Shut her down. " My P-Waves looked great..... threw NO A-Waves while treading.... he said I did FANTASTIC..... and was totally thrilled with a cholesterol count of 129..... he said " you are so lucky!! " I said, " NO, I am SO BLESSED!!!!! " He told me to keep up the good work.... stay on the Toprol and aspirin..... and have a wonderful life !! LOL So.... here I am !!! Still loosing weight..... taking my 'drugs'.... and getting on with life !! AFIB is NOT the END OF THE WORLD..... and I can live with it.... and I will live with it.... I might not be able to be 'cured'... but I can OVERCOME !!!! Zeruiah~
