Guest guest
You can also buy the glucose tablets pretty cheap at walmart. For some reason they wont work well with me. But they taste good...lol Has anyone tried that glucose liquid in a tube? I was wondering how it worked. Its expensive. Like $12 for 3 tubes. I keep thinking maybe I should get a package and keep it in my purse sinse sometimes my sugars drop way to low. fran > Eunice wrote: However, if you do continue to get shaky, feeling dizzy and it is because of a low number, a good > product to have with you at all times is Glucose tablets. You can buy them at any pharmcy. You should eat one or two of them, then test 15-20 minutes later to see if your bg's have gone up.

An alternative that works as well, but is a lot cheaper, is those little tubes of decorating frosting available in grocery stores. (Ski Patrol members carry them regularly as part of their " pack " in case a skier has a hypo problem on the slopes.) Guest guest
Thanks Sandy I didnt even think of that. I know often when I do have a low Im not able to go fix food because Im shaking so bad and I feel to light headed. It would be easier just to grab something like this. fran > An alternative that works as well, but is a lot cheaper, is those little > tubes of decorating frosting available in grocery stores.
