Guest guest
Several years ago one of the members posted this recipe. She was looking for something different. It is delicious, quick and very filling. She opened a can of French cut green beans, added a can of tuna, warmed in the microwave. You could also add some cheese. I love cheese on almost everything. hugs Eunice
Guest guest
I usually have oatmeal and fruit for breakfast. Lunch is salad with some shredded cheese or tuna in a pita or made into a wrap or with Wasa. Dinner is a Smart Ones or Healthy Choice with extra veggies and a salad. I use light Ranch salad dressing and mix it with some water, makes it go further! For a snack, I eat Chex or Crispix dry. Here is an old TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) for a " whole " sandwich. Use a bread knife to slice bread horizontally so you have 2 thin but " whole " slices of bread to make a sandwich. Works best with a dense bread. Guest guest
Hmm if you are high blood pressure like me and cant tolerate the high salt in canned veggies use frozen green beans just a thought. sharon Re: A food idea Several years ago one of the members posted this recipe. Guest guest
Or, if able, can your own green beans!! Just remember to follow USDA guidelines! You don't have to add the salt to your canned goods. IT is only for flavor. Angelia in OR who loves to can her own stuff! ----- Original Message ----- From: " shar2 " > Hmm if you are high blood pressure like me and cant tolerate the high salt > in canned veggies use frozen green beans just a thought. > > sharon > ----- Original Message ----- > From: ERWachter@... > > > Several years ago one of the members posted this recipe.
