I am not savvy to the Bicyllin, since I prefer the natural choices. But, I definitely think bypassing the GI tract will protect his microflora, so I would rather get the IM shots than take orals. Even with antibiotics, one needs to have a plan for die-off.

When I started my recovery journey for my children, I sought out as many recovery stories as I could find. What I found was that treating for Lyme was getting the fastest, most successful results at eliminating autism symptoms. Thus, I jumped on that bandwagon, and my children no longer have autism, as well. See www.heidinotes.com to see what I learned.

Heidi,

Thanks for responding back... I would like to know by using bicillin I hear that the shots is very difficult to take. My son is 6 years old and I am not sure if he can handle this. I know that there are other options than bicillin. What do you think?

Thanks again,

Armand

Sorry, I am not savvy with antibiotics in treating for Lyme. I know that Dr. Ray has gobs of experience with Lyme induced autism in children. He mostly uses Flagyl and Zithromax from months to many years. If you can't find him by Googling, let me know, and I will look up his number. He is in Connecticut. You can also go to BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Yahoo Group and some Lyme forums to see what they say. I used naturals. At this very moment in time, my favorite treatment is BLt, which can only be purchased by calling:

http://www.clinicalresponseformulas.com/order.html

But, we take lots of stuff in addition, much of what you see being used in the autism arena. I think one could treat like one usually does for autism, but emphasize treatments on protozoa and pleomorphic bacteria, and then you will likely start seeing some good things. Some have to take zinc and/or also treat biofilms, and of course, detox as well. Many of the naturopath doctors are learning about pleomorphic pathogens and are experienced in treating Lyme, autism, etc. I have posted ways to find them before. I can look up that post if you want.
